Well done and THANK YOU to Jonny...

'Me finishing the Hull Marathon, one of two completed (in very much warmer conditions than forecast). It was a thoroughly enjoyable race with a cracking atmosphere which kept up your spirits to the end. Not without its tough points as I endured the proverbial 'wall' coming back across the Humber Bridge, but carried on until the end finishing in a respectable 03:38:22 :) 
Onwards to the Yorkshire Marathon in three weeks time to endure another stern test of physical endurance :)

I'm raising money and creating more awareness for CMV Action, a foundation I chose to represent as my 8 year old niece Imogen was born with the condition and needs round the clock care as a result; affecting not only her but also everyone who cares for and looks after her. As a keen runner I set myself the challenge of completing two marathons within a few weeks of one another, enduring months of training to build up to both events, keeping focus and motivation to help raise awareness for CMV.'
